One of the things I love to do is to make videos of the recipes I have recreated! Usually, I like to take a recipe of a dish that the average person enjoys, like comfort food. These recipes will include burgers, pasta, pizza and baked goods.I think it is so important to eat food you truly enjoy. I started this collaboration to bring together the everyday foods that we grew up on and make them as healthy as possible. It really depends on your version of healthy of course. However, I live the paleo-style life and it has served me well.
The Clean ColLABorative- Garlic Avocado Burger
One of the first videos I made was a clean version of a garlic avocado burger. It is a dairy-free, gluten-free, no sugar added and paleolithic style burger.
And it only passes the test if my husband indulges. And he loved it! It is simple to make and so delicious. I sautéed sweet potatoes as the side and used Primal Kitchens Avocado Ranch dressing. Enjoy!
- 1 lb of grass-fed beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of chopped basil
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of pepper
- 2 pcs. of bacon
- 1/2 an avocado
- 1/2 a red onion
